Ongoing - Continued updating of the life channel with videos and images of school life.

June 1st - School Jubilee day - LT and AC supported after school events (cake sale)

Half term - AC and LT wrote Opening Ceremony and Mass with Closing Ceremony.

June - Display of Jubilee Day put up by school hall.

June - meeting with KK about the logistics of Olympics week.

June - memo given out about Opening and Closing Ceremonies and planning ideas / heroes given out.

25th - 29th June - Olympics week with Opening Ceremony, Closing Ceremony, St. Peter and St. Paul Mass, Year group Pentathlon, Visit from Olympic Torch bearer, after-school Olympic events (Judo).

July - Winners certificates given out in Prize giving assembly. All videos put on life channel to share with school community.

Christmas 2011

LT and AC wrote and led the staff Pantomime 'Goldilocks and the three bears'. This was performed on the last day of the Christmas term.

Organising Staff Christmas Outing

Dec 2011 - We organised the staff Christmas party for 29 people to the Paragon Hotel.

Samaritans' purse Shoebox appeal 2011

Well done to everyone. We collected 102 boxes which broke our record of 85 from last year! Our boxes will be transported to Bosnia in time for Christmas.

Summer 2011

April - Meeting with KK re: what we will achieve during the summer term.

Release morning in May to plan Health Month / Health aware fayre and science week with LK

June INSET- Staff meeting – explanation of Health month / whole school Health aware project / summer fayre theme / costume and music.

Health month blog was set up to show what we were doing. Fliars were sent out to each parent to explain what was happening in Health Month. Posters went up in school to advertise upcoming events.

May - July - class council meetings planning each step of the health aware fayre and feeding back to pupil committee.

June - Meeting with Kevin to finalise what will happen in health month / health aware fayre and summer fayre

Throughout June - Staff meetings – updates to staff about the project.

Throughout June - grp of Ch visited both Sainsbury's and Hughes fruit and veg to pitch for support in the Primary Enterprise Challange. Both pitches were successful and resulted in donated fruit.

15th June - AC assembly to launch Health Month

17th June - health aware fayre.

18th June - Summer Fayre

July 1st - AC / LT / Gov / HT attended council house to present our PEC project on 'lifewise'. We were overall winners and won £200. This was coupled with nearly £200 profit. Ch will decide how this is spent.

July - Display boards put up in the reception area to celebrate our links with our community and Health month theme.

July 4th - Science week with health theme.

July 8th - celebration assembly about Science week.

July - Each class completed a questionnaire to measure the success of the project and what was learnt through it.

July - Healthy reward time organised for each class.

Healthy picnic - whole school - 20th July – reviewing what we had done as part of one world month.

Spring Term 2011

Ongoing - Liason with staff at BXL PEC about our project and the ways in which we could be supported.

LT - assembly with a multicultural theme.

Ongoing - development of school garden by JG, SD and D O'K to promote our school health month. Ch from different year groups were involved.

First class council meeting on the theme of 'being healthy'

Actions for Autumn Term 2010

Sept – meeting with Kevin to review and evaluate our action plan for the summer term.

Sept – meeting with Kevin to plan and create our action plan for the term ahead

Sept - Celebration Cake Bake and 'one world tea party' for Governors, parents and children. Most families attended.

Oct – LT/AC reviewed BXL/ PEC meeting about our enterprise for 2010. Faxed outline of our 'health day project' to BXL.

Oct – school pantomime written

Nov – meeting with KK about where our TLR goes next. Discussion about creative curriculum and leading inset in 2011. Dicussed having release time to facilitate this when need arose.

Nov - AC and LT reviewed action plan and created a new plan for the year ahead and to share with governors.

Oct / Nov co-ordination of Samaritans shoe box appeal – over 85 boxes collected.

Dec – co-ordination and performance of staff pantomime for children.
